Nishiki Japanese Restaurant first experience

I've heard a lot of good, positive comments regarding this well known japanese restaurant.
As there are quite a few of japanese retaurant here, this is the oldest one in kota kinabalu city.

The view of the shop once you stepped in from outside.

The napkin tissue from the photo stated that the shop has been established since 1987,
the oldest in kota kinbalu so far.

As my partner have issue with health, she can't simply take seafood but the key to taste the goodness of this shop is to try out their sushi. So we ordered unagi sushi, which is RM14 per 2 pieces serving. From the picture you can tell that it is very juicy and tenderly feeling is superb.
I guess the phrase you get what you paid applied in here.

since sushi is quite out of choices for us, instead we had soba as the main dish, they serve pork. So the above soba was served in pork meat.

While I'm prefer to eat beef at all time !

I'm not too sure what is wrong with their soup base, both of our soup taste a little too salty, to the extend of worst ever I've ever tasted. It is too plain in tasting, simply the soy sauce taste, no more. But on the other hand, the meat taste pretty well and tender. Juicy as well. I'd not really suggest people to try this instead of sushi or seafood dishes =/

Grilled salmon with salt. Cost RM 18.
As the food above is somewhat less, we ordered this as side dish. This is especially good.
The salmon tasted very fresh and sweet, it was a simple great piece of grilling.

To be honest from the bottom of my heart, I found the price in this shop is a little too expensive. The total up for the food above cost around RM95. People said it is great and awesome, I'm only agree to that in terms of their sushi and seafood serving but not the soup-based noodle.

After all the perfectionism, personally I still think it's not really worth to pay more to get a little margin over the utility or satisfactory. Well, if that would be me, I don't mean anything if you are person who willing to pay more to get the best in this city. In short I'm more to a quantity > quality person as I don't pick up too much on food :p If you would like to try the BEST sushi and sashimi, this is the shop you can look forward to it.

Comic Fiesta 2011 (slow poke)

Here I'm to update my blog with this entry.
Though it is super slow, approximately 1 month late hope I could contribute some :p

The event was held during 17-18th December at Kuala Lumpur Convention Center.
Hall 4 and 5 was used in this event.

Being first timer in this event, the experience was like hell in first day.
Reason? In short, Hall 5 too cramped due to stage event -> People don't want to go out -> People stucked at Hall 4 can't go in Hall 5.

People who went out from Hall 5 like me -> Stuck at outside can't even enter to Hall 4 until 5pm which the time already near the end of first day.

The moment when at outside, waited 2 or 3 hours to enter back HALL 4 ONLY !

What about the situation inside ?

Quite famous CROSSplay during CF. However, this is the nicest crossdresser I've ever seen.
I know "A.B.C photography" don't like, but please respect the cosplayer. I've heard some issues there.

My friend being first timer in cosplay, and the best part is that she sew the dress by her own !

In the end I bought these, the pin badge cost RM6 each, buy 5 get 1 FREE.
Not that cheap of its size class.

My thought on this event :
It is great and fun. Lot of fun seeing damn a lot of cosplayers. Though I wish the management, especially KLCC security and management team should really revise their attitude to deal with visitors. Apart from that, I think that the event organiser should really know how to fully utilise the place.

The size of Hall 4 and 5 are same. But they didn't use Hall 4 for anything, but only selling ticket for CF entrance and accommodating thousands of people inside for cosplay "gathering" ?

I really look forward to see the upcoming comic fiesta in the end of this year for some improvement and greater stage event :D

Sorry for the late wishes guys and girls, hope you all are well during the last christmas in 2011 and this new year. Also, I would like to thanks to all my fellow readers/visitors during the past year so I could continue to maintain my simple blog.

By the way ahh, It is just so relieved after exam and everything is done.
Finally, I'm back to my home town Kota Kinabalu again!

Reason I'm so happy to come back because of these...jeng jeng jeng !

Actually those are 35mm negatives mainly for my upcoming landscape shooting around Kota Kinabalu. To be exact those are Ektar 100. Kodak call them as the finest grain of negatives in the world. Let's see what is the result after developed when I finished them. And also I hope I could tour around all the west side of Sabah, but "Tip of Borneo" is quite far from Kota Kinabalu. Driving to there could take up as long as 3 hours :O

Cut the crap, as today went to evening walk at Tanjun Aru Beach for some quality time with family. It turned out to be a good golden sunset. Quickly took my Sony NEX-3 mounted with 16mm f/2.8 pancake lens and go to the beach quickly, as we were sitting in the food court having desserts.

Another reason which I like NEX because the tilt-able LCD. During composing, I just lowered the camera to waist level and compose by looking at the LCD screen. Adjusting the WB (White Balance) and you can see the direct outcome without looking at the image after test shot. To ensure better sharpness and less vignetting in compared to wide open, shooting at F8 is definitely a good choice.

Oh yeah, Happy New Year 2012!

Ikaros, her innocent emotion will never change whether it is sad,happy, angry or whatsoever. The expression just stay at the same for x period.

Few days ago I got Edwin Ng helped me to scan my negative, shot at almost two months ago.

To tell the truth, I lost my FM2n once at cyber cafe. Luckily the staffs there managed to get me back.

I've paid them my gratitude since I went back to my university.

The most funny part the culprit took a photo of his facebook profile, I only knew after my friend scanned the negative LOL! But I don't think I want to reveal it since he has returned the camera.

I quite like this photo as I got a very very nice random sunset, it is hard to get a good sunset

in random day to be honest.

Ah, nothing more to talk about. Let's just stop here for a while until I done my finals :D

AFA 2011 Trip

So I went to Singapore during last week, why ? For AFA 2011.

Hmm.... If you looking forward for this post, do read more !

One of my favourite photo taken at Merlion Bay, on the way from esplanade theatre.

The day before AFA which is on friday, me and my friends decided went to Suntec Convention Center to take a look for ticketing. We expect there was not much crowd before 9 morning at the ticketing counter, but it turns up quite a lot of peoples. Almost queue for 30minutes only got our tickets.

I've already planned what to buy before I go to AFA. So after hall entrance opened, being a K-ON! fans, the first booth I went ahead of course related to K-ON! , and just within one minute I already decided to buy two T-Shirts.
The so called AFA exclusive items.

After that, there is Aniplex booth, selling most of the "Meduka/Meguca" and Ano Hana T-Shirts,
and of course the exclusive LiSA anime-ed T-Shirt.
One of the nice thing showing in the booth was the next year releasing nendoroid Menma.
Isn't she very cute ? Take your pre order now at Amiami !

As I walk along the hall, I came across to the good smile company booth.
Not only they are selling the nendoroids, but they have quite a lot amount of figures in cabinet too.

One of the miku version I like, the HSP version. But she looks so pedolicious in this sculpture !

The very first stage session during first day, presentation brought by Danny Choo.

Right after his presentation and the culture japan season 2 first episode show,
Utaco starts to perform the OP of the show and music composer Vividblaze.

There are many many many dolfies in a particular booth which only displaying dolfies who are owned by a lot of owners,
much like a DD gathering.

The only maid cafe held during AFA obviously is Moe Moe Kyun maid cafe.
Since we only come once a year for AFA, so we decided to go in.
Guess what ? In order to get in, you have to order minimum of 2 Sets meal.
Chocolate cake set etc... Each set cost SGD20.
Deal with it :D

Since me and zen brought our nendoroid along, I then request the maid, Yuna whether can take our nendoroid picture.
Requested granted and we took our nendoroid and shoot like a boss.
You can see there is a media guy holding his HDV recording what we doing in the maid cafe after asking us.

Chiwa Saito live dubbing session is definitely awesome.
There is nothing more realistic than the original seiyuu to dub her own anime character !

The performance brought to audience by AKB48 Singapore Cafe.
Many much AKB48 fans sitting in the very front and cheering for them and bring up the atmosphere.
The stage also sponsored by Canon Singapore.

Finding the cosplayer you like is not easy when the crowd is too much.
Personally I like the above one, which is Makise Kurisu cosplay. The expression !

Audio Technica ATH-AD900 (Review)

Thought of giving a review of this nice audiophile grade headphone

after using it for 2 months plus.

If you are interested with open type headphone or rather wants to know what isit,

please do read the further review.

Two months ago I was lurking around garage sales section in

Low Yat forum suddenly I came across to a thread title selling
second hand but quite in good condition AD900,
the most important part is cheap price !

Without any hesitation, I met up the buyer and grabbed it during next day.

What I heard in the first time was it was much better sounding than AD700.

Really, the difference is like suddenly pop out of nowhere.

Also AD900 could give you the sounds signature of AD series,

in terms of colouring and balancing.

So, what is open air type headphone ?
Open type headphone basically don't have " sound proof ".

That means when you are wearing the headphone,

you still can hear what the noise "outside your world" clearly.

Why ? Isn't it sucks when you can hear noise when wearing headphone ?
If you realised many high end audiophile headphone,

like HD800, HD650, AD200, K1000, Hifiman HE6

many of them are open types one.

So, why ?
Usually open type headphone give you very very wide sound stage.

It gives a lot more clarity and more transparent in your music.
Well, not all open types are sound the same anyway.

Lets go to the review right now, before it,

I'm pairing this budget yet warm sounding DAC and laptop as my source.
GoVibe USB DAC

All of music are based on asian, especially Japanese songs, anime songs ?
File format wise would be the popular .FLAC .APE.
and also .PCM, .TAK

Bass :

One of the weakest point of AD series headphone is their bass performance, or rather it is already famous that ATH-AD cans are weak in bass. For bass head, no offense, could just go to apple shop grab the beats headphone earphone or whatsoever. Pairing this warm sounded DAC, listening Love Call by Toyama Nao, the bass from the intro part sounded very mild, could tell its a bit warm bass there, but not sound as warm as HD650. The bass playing nicely in slow song. While listening to band-themed songs like Little Braver by LiSA, 陽光宅男 by Jay Chou, the bass is mild, but other than that the bass extension is somewhat lacked in here. Throughout the OST of ("Meduka") Puella Magi Madoka Magica conducted by Yuki Kaijura , especially track #4 - Gredens justitiam, you could hear the bass is producing in low frequency but not punchy enough, and the it is still lacking extension. Like I mentioned earlier, the bass only sounds more "comfort" to ear when it is playing the slow slong.

Mid :
I used Ken Hirai - Itoshiki Hibi yo mainly for vocal audit. As expected being an AD headphone, the mid is quite forward, it is like you are standing in middle of the big concert hall listening to it with few people standing around you. Next up, 我願意 by Faye Wong. Very typical song tested by a lot chinese audiophiler. The mid is forward but balance, without much warm and colouration. How I wish the warmness is a bit more thicker. Picking anime song perform by LiSA again. in Ichiban no Takaramono, LiSA voice sounds forward and focus, without any much colouration as well, I might describe it as somewhat dry. After putting the cans back to the "Meduka" OST, the vocalist during the orchestra. WOW! The mid is just lively in the hall, they pronounce beautifully yet its not boring. However some of you still wish for a little bit thicker warmness especially in Mid. While going back to Love Call, the mid of the lovely young female adult (born 1992) produced is sweet, if you paired up even warmer amp or dac, i believe the mid will go even fuller and sweeter.

High:
So I've picked up an ending song "Orange", from a popular anime called Toradora!. The reason why I choose this because of the tambourine is often used throughout the song. I have to say this cans controlled the high pretty well, it is not ear piercing, not bright at all. One of the thing I noticed when listening to vocal, especially the high extend will have some sort of grainy highs and sibilance, especially for the song mentioned in Mid part. While the high part for this cans is pretty much "far" away from the music, in terms of distance. The high sounds like it was playing in another separated place rather than grouping together.

Transparency :
AD900 perform quite good compared to higher end series. You could pick up or rather separated any instrument while playing. In little braver you could clearly differentiate which instrument is playing which part. Being a quite balance cans, the transparency in some of the song is not that really transparent. Sometimes I might find it difficult to pick up as well, or rather they sounds shy.

Sound Stage:
Being an open back headphone plus the AD headphone signature, AD900 sound stage definitely is a lot wider compared to many cans out there. This headphone sounds airy, but not to the extend of floating sounds. The wide sound stage give you the impression like you are listening in an empty concert hall. Not only the vocalist sounds like in an concert hall, but the instrument also sounds like it is playing on the stage as well.

Round up :
I can only say this headphone performing very good especially in AD series. It sounds forward, yet everything remain balance, except the bass part. People who dislike the low pronounced bass could try to changing different DAC / amp combination to suit your preference. Also don't forget about the airy sound stage as well. The major part and what it make this headphone distinct is that the lively sound. In terms of musicality, it performs very well in especially jpop or jrock. People who wants to venture into AD series headphone could directly consider this instead.

Malaysia Airlines MH2641 experience

So during last day of October 2011, I took Malaysia Airlines, especially MH2641 to KUL.

Because it is the only flight operating BKI - KUL using Boeing 737-800, also known for so long Malaysia Airlines is using their brand new 737-800 which is featuring "boeing sky interior" inside the cabin for this route.

Usually, Malaysia Airlines 737-800 or to be specific, the 9M-MX series would normally park at gate A for overnight.

During this day I boarded gate A2.

The new business class seating with leather and padded head part
instead of the previous in 737-400 which is fabric type.

Pre-book seat, 19F. Also thanks to my friend John Chin recommending this wing view seat. :D

The last turning point before Mt. Kinabalu in sight.

After 30minutes of ascending,
meals are started to serve by flight attendant.
Separate into two, start from row 1 and row 16.

The meal box was eco friendly made, sugar cane fibre as the main material.

We can see that MH is working up on social responsibilities towards environment at the very basic.

Throughout the journey,

60-70% of the time is travelling inside big big cloud,

but just happened once slight turbulence.

Lights were turned off, as the light source from outdoor was sufficient.

As well passenger could rest in better lighting environment.

It is quite usual for BKI - KUL or KUL - BKI route to deploy spoiler during descending.

This creates more resistance to air so the aircraft wont go very steep at fast descending.

Prepare to land, 30 degree flaps were deployed

Initially I'm recording the final approach + landing video

but when I first time saw this Russian cargo AN-124 (Ruslan),

I can't hesitate my recording and switch to capture still image. Haha !

It is not significant in this picture, but you can spot it.

Even though at first I want to take photo of cabin only,

but the friendly flight attendants volunteer themselves to let me photograph them. Haha !

At last I took KLIA Express from KLIA directly to KL Sentral.

For Rm35 per person. Though buy as group ( min. 3) would get more discounts.

It is the fastest way to travel from KLIA to KL Sentral at 28minutes only.

It is also the greenest way as it doesn't produce massive carbon dioxide.

Summary for this journey :

- Very satisfied with Malaysia Airlines service.

- Being a full service airline, Malaysia Airlines is doing their job very well

- In terms of hospitality, all of their flight attendant are well mannered, unlike low cost carrier.

- MH Low price is very competitive to Air Asia.

After you add baggage fees, credit card charge, meal, it makes not much difference.

Unless you can't even afford RM10-20 extra to get full service.

Nendoroid Petite Angel Beats!

My 3rd latest collection after my nendoroid petite haruhi' summer ver. and hinagiku came to me. Those two sets are still pending to be taken out for photo session. :D

I'm forced to buy a second set of Set 1 in order to get Set 2 which Tenshi and Yui inside. 囧rz

Currently is in Kota Kinabalu right now will be back to Kuala Lumpur 10 days later.

Finally once again all my figure gathered together. Hawhawhaw !

Dakimakura

Received this parcel in my university few days ago. I'm so excited to get it. Some more this time it took 2 working days from Japan to reach Selangor only ! :D Just in case you want to know more....

Because it's hard to find your desired 2D wife while in the same time you want to get an "original" one.After sourcing few sites, finally found the one I like which is Yui from Angel Beats anime :D

In my opinion, the price of this premium pricing cloth (8,800JPY) is quite up to personal willingness to pay. In fact, the material is very very smooth and soft, it's like silk alike but its not actually. The color of the cloth also well printed in high quality. Hardly has any bad besides the pricing.

Perhaps this is indirectly advising you to appreciate your 2D wife !

Recently like 2 weeks ago I took her to Starbucks Coffee in my school campus.

It seems every week I will bring different figure go there to take some picture for hours.

Only I have that much wealth to support both way ( Starbucks and Figures )

She is angry because she unable to enjoy the espresso :p

On 31st Aug 2011 I submitted my aviation-based photo for a photo contest with a theme " Malaysia is my home".

Since this contest is "Like"-based which means if you get highest "Likes", then winner goes to you. :)

The prize is an iPad2, for sure I'll work hard for it to get as much as I can.

I even skipped classes because of busying spreading the news to all of my contacts.

and guess what ? Our hardship did paid ! I've won in the contest. :D

First of all I want to thank my girl for the past 1 week she keep distribute that news in a little paper and ask her schoolmates to vote for me.
Secondly I also would like to thanks to all of the two thousands ++ of voters who are kind enough to spend their precious time to help me.

This is the photo that I submitted. Reason I chose this because Malaysia Airlines symbolic of Malaysia.
It is an iconic brand which will directly lead you to think of Malaysia at the very first sight.
Landing in this picture shows that you're finally came back to your home.

My first film camera

Bye bye D700, a heavy piece of metal already sold off during last Sunday. Nothing big deal since I already make a peace of mind to go film already.

No more DSLR :D What I got is a compact, lightweight system, and film slr like the earlier Nikon F / FM models.

I went for DSLR when it was like nearly 3 years ago because starts in the wrong pace, and then become gear head everyday complain this and that :D

For me DSLR should be a tool for professional only because all the available lenses out there is ready for them to make choices to shoot different kind of perspective photo.

I'm not pro, I'm unable to carry such heavy metal to go around every time.

So after i sold of my digital immediately I got a NEX-3 with 16mm f/2.8 pancake as a digital tool for shooting general stuffs. This setup is pretty good, NEX3 definitely won't lose to any other DSLR with APS-C sensor seriously.

This light and compact setup would not compromise with the quality on it, to newbie out there the ISO3200 is so usable and very pleasant ! Pic later la but I have available with ISO 1600 ! Haha :D

Initially plan to switch to M6 but then even I can afford M6 but unable to buy

a single lens plus bank will broke so might as well just buy cheaper setup,

same using film what :p

I already immune because I know myself don't have that much money :p

Well, until now I haven found a film developer shop yet,

guess it's super hard to find in here.

There are some shops providing this service but then too far away from me lah haiya :x

Oh wai-, this is not Mercedes SLR McLaren post. This is regarding SLR yo ! Your common fartsy DSLR without the word "D" ! Yes, I sold my D700 today and booked a used Nikon FM2n.

How do I feel when I'm letting to my D700 ?

Answer is no feelings, because it is just another camera. I get what I like.

D700 to me is too much pampering, u get good speed good af good iso bla bla bla.

Going back to old school is just like suddenly throw you living in jungle while you

previously living in Taj Mahal alike palace. :D

After sold my D700 now I plan to get a compact,

mirrorless either 4/3 or APS-C sensor camera.

Still in dilemma though. It's either the GF / NEX series.

Anyway I'm so sorry to seldom update this soon-to-be-dead blog. :x

Moved to another place

Ahhh it's quite a period of time I did not update my blog. I've been busying due to moving to West Malaysia for further study. :(

On 20th Jul I departed Kota Kinabalu taking FireFlyz with their brand new Boeing 737-800 ( Reg : 9M-FFF ) delivered from Boeing Seattle last month and arrived KLIA after 2 and half hours later.

Seriously I've never took any in-flight meal since I stopped riding Malaysia Airlines like more than 6-7 years ago. For every time I'm riding Air Asia I wouldn't bother to order meal because normally is very short haul flight.

So I've ordered their "chef recommended labelled" nasi lemak previously via online and you know what? It taste superior ! Probably the best taste ever I've came across to many other restaurants or stalls I used to it. But of course the smell of the "Sambal" is quite nose tickling for some people some more in such a small place to dine in. Haha ! :D

Ah yeah before I disembark the aircraft I've requested to get a cockpit shot and I'm granted for it :D

For the first time I been seeing an actual cockpit , its so cramped ! If I grow fatter I don't think I can even fit in the cockpit door LOL !

So upon landed I took KLIA express for my very first time and going to KL Sentral for transiting to my new living place for study. :(

I think I'm stopping here for the moment, will update in this blog when I'm free for next time :D

Kora , another boring blogger entries ! Yes I know it's boring :p

Last week went to Shangri-la Tanjung Aru Resort aka "Beach Hotel" in Kota Kinabalu slang,

with a few friends including Valerie.
So my friend decided to shoot her while I'm just shooting her natural movement.
Very simple photos, so please don't mind them.

Only these lah. I know I need to improve a lot on composition. :(

Hope I will do better next time, and hopefully there is next time.

Fatty Chef Cuisine first experience

For some god knows reason, I don't know why Karamunsing Capital is flooded with many restaurant.

All those restaurant pricing is not cheap like the oridnary "kopitiam" you always go.

Most of those restaurant has some fluffy wallpaper and whatever lar.

Today I with some friends went to Fatty Chef Cuisine restaurant for dinner.

Since spend lesser the merrier, we saw the "set dinner" menu for Rm18.

Including one main dish and also extra 2 side dishes.

I can't recall what are them because I forgot to snapped the picture of menu.

This is the Grilled Sirloin , Fried Wedges with Cheese and also ordinary spaghetti .
Belongs to my Korean friend.

Grilled Sirloin again. with sausages and the Pasta ? I've totally forgot sish.

Golden Pillow Ham Chicken with both the spaghetti and pasta :p
I'm indeed a big eater, I need more noodles to fill my big stomach. :D

Ok lar that's all only.
Taste wise they are great, basically, you-eat-what-you-will-going-to-pay.
Not for people who look for economic meal.

After tax it's like Rm20++ for a person. Indeed very expensive. :x

If you think of going somewhat "high class" restaurant

yet not breaking your wallet go ahead.

Tamron SP AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD ( little review )

Hi folks out there, few days ago I bought a brand new Tamron SP AF 70-300 telephoto zoom lens.

Before the purchases I've read quite many of the lens review. Tamron SP series lenses has never disappointed
user with its glass performance such as 17-50mm f/2.8 lens.

Of course its Cost : Price greatly attracted a lot of amateur users to buy it. Let's see how is this great lens doing. :D

Lens comparison with Nikon 70-300 VR

Wide open shooting with the lens isn't a major problem, its kinda sharp at whole range

Not as sharp as Nikon/Canon 70-200 series but it's way better than many telephoto zoom out there.

On the other hand,

the Chromatic Aberration (CA) is very low, very impressive.

Thanks to the XLD element which improve the CA performance dramatically.

I believe this is the first Tamron lens with silent motor.

This lens featuring the new focusing motor, just like Canon's USM, Nikon's SWM,

Tamron named it USD. Means Ultrasonic Silent Drive. :D

and of course the VC is extremely useful when comes to telephoto.

You will feel weird when you try to shake ur camera,

but inside the finder still stable solidly :p

To test out the VC capability, I simply tried it at 300mm with 1/15s shutter speed
continuously shot for 10 frames.

I already uploaded the 100% cropped part in flickr.

Panning with this lens while the VC on is not really a problem.
Well about this I need take it to few more field tests.
But since I went to another plane spotting with this lovely lens,

I don't find any problem other than me being lack of skills.

These were shot at 1/80 shutter speed. Quite impressive, but of course I have to improve more

to get better panning hit rate lah :)

This is the first lens ever that Tamron put silent motor in. Despite being the first, it never compromise

the performance.

The AF speed is kinda fast, as fast as the 70-300VR. AF sound is absolutely quiet.

About 70-250mm range the AF speed remains the same. Nearing 300mm the AF started to slow a bit.
In case you have any doubt, I've uploaded a video to youtube regarding the AF speed. :D

Personal thoughts :
This is an amazing telephoto zoom lens at reasonable price.
As I said earlier Tamron never disappointed end user with their SP series lenses.

It is cheaper than the Nikon one

by approx Rm300 ( ~USD99). Somehow Tamron Malaysia give you 2 years local warranty while

Nikon only 1 year. Some said this lens is on par with the Nikon, some said its better.

I'd strongly suggest people to get this lens if he/she is thinking of getting a telephoto zoom lens.
If you're a non 3rd-party believer, go and get the more expensive Nikon for nothing extra. :p

Always remember one thing :

*For third party lenses there is always an infamous issue which is Front/Back focusing issue.
As long as you test the lens properly before you purchase it , there will be no problem with the focusing.

Fiio E5 Headphone Amplifier ( with pics now )

Many would ask why headphone required an amp to drive. In fact, a good sound quality headphone is needed a good and suitable amp to drive it.
The drive I mean is that to make the full potential of the headphone able to do. Forget about whatever Beats by Dr.Dre shit products despite paying a grand.
It's still sucks ! Why it sucks yet so expensive ? Go and study Consumer Economic. In fact it is sucks. You bought it because of your stupidity.

Today I got a cheap and portable head amp here, and might as well give a simple review for people who look into affordable and decent amp.

The built quality of this amp is simply nice. It is made out of aluminium for whole chassis, except the buttons. It is featuring a big clip for you to clip the amp on something when you are in portable mode.
In the picture above, there is one mini usb port for you to charge the amp via your computer USB ports. While the other part is the input female 3.5mm jack, means plug the male-male 3.5mm jack between amp and your source.

Just plug your headphone to the hole as the picture shows above. Then you got volume adjustment bar obviously.
Follow by ON/OFF button. The last one is Flat/Bass mode switch. Switch near to power button is flat mode and vice versa.

Now I'm going into the performance.
My setup would be PC->Creative X-Fi SB046A sound card
-> E5 (Flat Mode )-> Koss KSC-75 ( >1k Hours burn in )

Surprisingly the amp in flat mode tamed down the bass performance a lot. It's a lot lighter and don't sound boomy bass anymore. The mid clarity improved and sound brighter from now on.
You will definitely love it when comes to listening female voice. The separation of bass and mid became obvious, it sound lively on this lovely earphone instead of "cramping-alike" sound stage.

For bass head/lover, you just switch to bass mode if you find it bass is too light for you.
I find it superb even though with my open air earphone :D

There are 3 different colors of light in different mode.

Blue indicate power on

Red indicate charging

Red + Blue = Power on + Charging

Cons : some people might complaint it gives too much hissing when comes to high volume from the amp.
On the other hand, there is also noise distortion when you playing while charging the device.
This is subjective, it is depends on how clean your power supply is.
But I don't suggest to charge it while playing if the distortion is annoying ( to me it is ).

Conclusion : For the price you pay, this is a decent headphone amp. Its Price/Performance is high. Suitable for every user, for people who wants to explore audiophile.

Price : Rm85 only.

Miso Japanese Restaurant

Because of a friend who is having her birthday on that day and we decided to lurk around seeking a restaurant for dinner.
So we came across to a japanese restaurant with classy looking and high-class alike pricing. Since we all like jap stuffs why don't we go in and try ? :D

It might be an "experience" for people who seldom go to jap restaurant and sitting inside the room like the traditional japanese dining style.
In order to dine inside the room, the waitress told us at least for 5 person above. But just a while later the waitress came and offer us the room for dining.

My friend mentioned he is spending us but for not burdening his wallet's sake, I ordered vinegared rice served with salmon and roe and of course the miso soup.
I'm not sure which roe but I supposed from salmon one :S . It cost Rm30 for this rice set. "Sugoi ne!"

Also my friend ordered an extra side dish for us which is tenpura shrimp.
Inside the plate not all are shrimp lar but others like carrot and yam as well.

I have nothing more to comment about this restaurant.
The food wise is not bad, imagine you are going to pay for such shit brix price but get bad taste food seriously you will going to WTFBBQ already.
If you think you are rich, you want to dining in high-class looking restaurant, go ahead. :)

We already went for the cheaper way when ordering. The total bill cost him RM 99.55, tax was included.
Maybe it is still cheap because we choose the cheaper option.
But still, the price is noticeably expensive.
Thus, there isn't any other customer besides us, at least in the mean time we went in and out.

Hi everyone. The first spotting in May is dedicated to Transmile Air Services B727 cargo aircraft.
They are daily scheduled, from somewhere which I think is Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, except on Sunday.
Normally it will arrive at 8am ( according to spotter ) but this time landed at 9 something.
I also got some Air Asia liveries that I never capture before. ;)

Nikon 85mm f/1.8D shoot around

After got this wonderful "portrait" lens from a nice gentleman.

I decided go to Likas jogging park which is quite a decent place to shoot nature or whatsover, plus the evening sunset is coming at the right time.

One of my favourite after 20 minutes of walk around.

I still have to go out and shoot more and get known with this lens.
85mm isn't as wide as 50mm, and its big different with 50mm ! :(

A day in kirameki maid cafe

As usual, for otaku like me go to maid cafe weekly, I mean mostly lar. Going there with my friend for a chilling session is not bad. I like there because the place is somehow special, it makes me comfort for no reason.
However, sometimes there is crowded which I don't really like D: . Anyway the only maid cafe so far in east Malaysia is Kirameki Cafe. But Im not too sure by now.

There are always having special food for sales like cup cakes, cakes, choco..etc.

For people who is interested in japanese omelette rice with something fancy drawings on top you may try out "Moe Moe Omu Rice" listed in the menu. Serving is quite a lot. Enough to fill fat boy like me having 36inch waist.
Price Rm7.50. A bit pricey though in Kota Kinabalu. "Japanese stuff" aren't cheap anyway :p

Milk shake, I like this the most. I order it often when I was there. Simple but taste great. If you like to drink something cold and sweet drink this la you wont go wrong with this anyway. Price for Rm5 , kinda ok lar :D

"Waku Waku Noodle" , bowl of instant noodle served with fried egg, crab sticks and either sausage or chikin ham. Priced at Rm6. I never taste before because I'm a rice eater. I like rice :D

I like to shoot something around if I brought my camera there. I like maid cafe because first, maid will serve you politely. Second, speciality. I like the decoration and the atmosphere. I go to more than 10 kopitiam out there, i felt the same. But this, it's just different. Hope you enjoy if you happen to go there.

Migrating

Yes I'm migrating from Canon to Nikon. Of course I cleared all my Canon gears before I move.

This decision took me few days. Initially I planned to get 5D classic, but think about Nikon D700 as well. Why don't pay for like 1k++ to get something which is better in terms of ISO performance, AF and FPS ?

But then there is obviously a D700 rival lah the 5D Mark II. I do consider 5D Mark II as well but since firstly its 21MP, I don't need that much. Secondly, video recording which I don't think I need it at all. Thirdly, the 3.9FPS made me hesitate when I'm doing aeroplane spotting. So those are the reason why i dont pick 5D Mark II. Plus I don't have so much EF lens in fact after sold my EF 85 f/1.8 USM the only lens I have is EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM haha !

Traded and topped up for 1 grand and more to get my D700.

Oh well, the item currently being held by Malaysia Custom. Hopefully it arrive soon and won't cause too much hassles.

Well, I picked Nikon doesn't mean anything. It is totally my personal preference la. Im not a Nikon fan. In fact I get Nikon because it suite my needs.

There is no clear winner for D700 vs 5D Mark II because they pioneered in different category.
You can see many pro wedding photographers uses 5D Mark II also what.
I don't like to compare camera because it's totally made for different taste user.

Canon EOS 7D Raw ISO Noise Test

I came across to borrow a unit of EOS 7D from Aron Chang after I sold out my entire Canon gears. It's a bit boring without camera to play haha :D . Despite many time Mr.Aron who generously lent me this so called the "King of crop sensor professional level DSLR body" , I never really did a decent comparison until yesterday.

People say 7D ISO Noise control is good, and all what I see from majority people are doing JPG format test only.

Now I going to show you the cropped part of each 1 stop increment test starting from ISO 100...ISO 200... ISO 400.. and so on.

So people who considering upgrade to EOS 7D just for better ISO noise control should you think again as there are newer body like EOS 60D which I personally think it should perform better or the same as EOS 7D.

However, EOS 7D is not made for people who concerning ISO performance. The release of EOS 7D mainly targeting professional photographers who need the superb AF performance and the 8 frames per second high speed continuous burst which is ultimately useful for sports action and also wildlife due to the crop factor gives you longer reach.

Well, besides it is not full frame sensor it is pretty perfect for crop sized sensor camera.
That is why people named it as the "King of crop sized sensor camera" :D

Ah, good also lah I receive it later due to monthly budget concern.

Tanjung Aru Perdana Park - Music Fountain show

Hey folks, its been a month plus and longer time I been this park before. The newly opened public park is soooooooooo nice. It has a lake which surrounded by walking path, jogging track, and another hard jogging track. Music fountain show also available during 7pm to 9pm every night. Consist of few sets of shows.

From 1st of March 11 onwards, the owner company started to collect an amount of parking fees. I'm not that sure how much is it but from my wild guess should be Rm2 per vehicle. The place located just beside the T-junction traffic light of Kota Kinabalu Terminal 2 Airport.

cool story about this Nokia N8

Look at this stupidly overpriced, low specs phone.

This is my coolstorybro.jpg about my N8. After bought it 3 weeks, my friend dropped and dipped this N8 to water. Immediately pick up the mobile phone let it dry under air-cond. We took the phone to "Nokia Care Center" the next day.

So, we went to the counter its true that water damaged is not included in the warranty option. But we are not too sure why the workers at NCC still took the phone to "repair/warranty" or whatsover.

Here comes the interesting part. One day a woman from NCC called me ask me to collect the N8 back since its back from "repairing". I felt sooooooooo happy after they asked me to collect this mobile phone.

On the next day, I collected the phone. Without trying to turn on the mobile, I walked away from NCC preparing to back home. While on the way to my car I tried to power up the N8 but it isnt work. Then I head back to NCC and ask whether they repaired my phone. The man told me the phone did not repaired. Due to water flow, the motherboard of the N8 had short circuit.

So I immediately asked whether they can repair it even with charges. But shockingly, his answer was No he said. Instead, he asked me approach to other mobile shop in order to repair this N8. I was like LOLWTF. What is the point of opening Nokia Care Center then ? If they don't even repair out-of-warranty phone ? I was damn frustrated about this case. No wonder Nokia so kecian nowadays la, pricing so high but service and quality wise not as good as competitors also.

I swear I would not buy Nokia mobile phones anymore.

Kiansom waterfall

I've heard a lot of people mentioning about this waterfall since young. But I never had the urge to visit it until past 2 weeks. After shooting sunrise, breakfast and there we go. My first impression of the place was still ok. At least not much rubbish there, water is cold, no much crystal clear though. However the lighting condition was still acceptable, pulled to ISO100 F/16 able to get 3-5 seconds exposure for each shot.

Sorry for the inconsistent in colour :)

Wow, it's super slowpoke from last December until now, nearly a month. A little bit shooting here and there made me so freaking lazy to update blog. Back to Hobbycon 2010, I was one of the official staff for event photograph, it's a real fun to attend the event. So many cosplayers around attracted a lot of crowd. However, to cut it short I just post some pictures here.

Sunrise at Mengkabong bridge

It's a brand new experience when talking about sunrise. Choosing a nice location in some other places is a bit hard. Luckily, Mengkabong this place is an absolute ideal place for sunrise shooting. In fact it's very famous for it as the east side of the bridge could give you a view of the tallest mountain in SEA, the Mt. Kinabalu.

To cut the long short, me and my friends Aron,Jonathan and Cavan woke up at 3.30am and start the road trip at about 4.30am. We reach there by 5am and having some fun while shooting.

Gomeneh, I was playing around the white balance during post processing, hence the blueish color :p

Time taken this time was 5.30am I think, still able to shoot the stars !

As the sun is coming out soon, we're able to see the orange-ish cast over the little sky.

Fisherman comes out to catch fish early in da morning. How hardworking ? :D

Lastly, I'm able to get a panorama view of the river and mountain in before the sun has rose high.

Hi guys, YongJk blogspot.com wishes you all people happy brand new year. I with some friends went to spot fireworks just now @ time 00:00. However the outcome still acceptable, not as great as the one that I took before. Here are some that I want to share :)

Last post for 2010

It's last day of Year 2010 today.
First of all, I would like to thanks every people and reader who ever read, visited my blog in the past. Your support is the key for me to improve more.

I would like to thanks to my parents who support my gears all the while. Without them I could not sitting here right now typing with enjoyment.
However due to economic status we couldn't get a nice deal before the Canon 1+2 years warranty. So I think of getting the Canon big mama flashgun is still acceptable.
What caught my attention is that the well-built, accurate E-TTL, High Speed Sync
and fast recycle speed even at full power of the flash.

Isn't it nice when mounted on my puny 1000D ?

Sapi Island day trip

We, a group of friends went to this lovely island yesterday. Thank God for the nice weather, calm wave and wind, and thanks to the uncle who brought us there for free of charge !

Firstly, we off from Sutera Harbour Resort, Marina Jetty. Sutera Harbour Resort itself is a lovely and wonderful resort, located 5.5km away from Kota Kinabalu International Airport, and 3km away from the city.

The weather is good and clear, we are able to have the clear view of Mt.Kinabalu, the tallest mount in South East Asia.

Unluckily I did not have any CPL filter to enhance the effect of outcome, have to do some minor editing only.

Btw, I just played the canon highest end flash gun yesterday. All I can say the flash is sooooooooooooooo lovely. The flash has high quality built, weather sealing all the sides. What's the most interesting about the flash is the High Speec Sync ( HSS ) allow you to use your flash as fill in under harsh sunlight. Also, the flash recycling time is damn fast even firing at full power !
No wonder people so keen to go for 580EX II, now I see the reason :D

Sup guys, it's been a while. Recently went to staying a 5 star hotel near the center business district of Kota Kinabalu.
Got up in 5am but waited the sun risen at 6am.
Go down to the path and seek for some long exposure shot but had failed. It was kinda too late in 6am in East Malaysia Here :p

So here I share the little noob shot for you guys, shoot with Canon EOS 1000D , EF-S 18-55 Kit lens ( borrowed my big horse to friend ) and a tripod of course :p

with 10 seconds of exposure :)

Had covered the Hobbycon 2010 2 days recently, and I'm really enjoying it. That is my dreamland :D However it only last 2 days...

Btw, just spent my 19th birthday with little friends in Kirameki Cafe .
It's a wonderful place I can tell, despite the small headroom. The place is quiet, nothings beat that. The maid who served us is very polite as well :p

Ordered a drink called Mirakuru Milkshake , Strawberry flavor , and it's a damn goodings. I enjoice-ed liao, importantly its Rm5 only wei ! :p

I knew that we can't take picture of maid in most of the Maid Cafe, and this cafe also adopted the rules as well.
We gotta pay an amount to take picture with them, using their polaroid camera :D

Sup guys and girls, finally have the time to get a warm seat after all the hassles back to hometown.

No good pic as usual, just posting some changes after few months of further study.

From the top you see the blue box, it's my own nendoroid mio figurine :D , she arrived me months before but I just don't have time to open it, yet until now I didn't really open the box and touch her yet. :D

From the left, the silver color metal is my new graphic card, it is MSI GTX460 Hawk version to be specific. I'm only able to use despite it has arrived 1 week before now because I left most of the importable cable for my modular power supply :x the old power supply unable to power up this medio-core card with only 1x 6pin PCI-E connector. I was forced by the situation to buy a new temporary power supply and I got the Seasonic S12-II 520W model, price is not bad and the review sounds good. I will put it later on.

To be honest it's a great card after all, the reason I choose that card over Radeon HD6870 is because I'm more familiar with nvidia system :D and the overclock-ability is kinda high ;). Factory custom design, made an impressive cooling result on loading temperature. It never exist 70c on 60% fan speed !

Next one would be an Intel 80GB SSD, I use that to replace the snail speed hdd. I know Gen 3 of SSD coming but I'm kinda lazy to wait. So yeah, the HDDs will be my storage.

Meanwhile, Parents just changed the house TV few days before i came back, its a pana plasma model P46X20k , 46 incher plasma tv, cheap and great. you wouldn't go wrong with the price. See how punny is the 13 inch laptop screen compared with the big screen ? :D

Last but not least, I just got one-of-my-favorite-anime-character figurine yesterday, it's Ikaros from anime Sora no otoshimono. It's a great anime series i would say, although the content will be sweaty sometimes. It's airing currently, for season 2 :)

So these are the new things i got recently, I will post some pic of the 460 if I'm free. :D and of course the photos of those figurine together :)

My freaking lousy EOS 1000D !!!

Ok. I've been changing to 2.8 and 1.8 lens half year ago. After the change I noticed my body can't focus properly with my EF-S 17-55 f/2.8 IS USM and also EF 85 f/1.8 USM.
The hit rate was inconsistent. God damn it even using the center AF point the focus still miss out sometimes. Damn lousy camera.

Here I will show some samples taken from my camera.

These 2 photos was sharp image. So 100% crop doesn't need to be posted.

Now comes the soft image sample.

This is the lousiest result when you trying to use the 1st left/right AF point.

Even I using center AF point the image still OOF like hell !!!

But sometimes the hit rate was good and I don't know why. The body is just too sucks.

I SERIOUSLY need a semi-pro body at least an EOS 50D , or the best 7D since the Canon gila sales promotion. But I don't have that MUCH pocket money. Plus my monthly pocket money is not that much, inconsistent. But what to do ? ¯\(°_o)/¯

I've took some photo yesterday, I saw a very nice sunset and sky there. So I quickly took Melvin's car to a place of 2 minutes distance to shoot.

I combined 2 exposures in these photos, so basically what you will see is like "HDR" effects.

Went to this stall for breakfast with my father on a sunday. Used to come to this stall often before.
The place is actually located the 1st floor of Inanam Pasar , there has few stall which selling foods as well.

The taste is always as great as it's origin.
The price is just for RM4 per plate and the quantity 100% enough to fill your stomach. Hehehe :D

Had a chance to enjoy my lunch at this German's restaurant with friends few days ago.
The restaurant decorated with lots of plants and flowers, very nice looking but I didn't take photo of it.

I've ordered 2 dishes of food, the spaghetti and their roti canai.

Total cost for these dishes are Rm15 + 15% tax

The calculation of the food is different with most of the restaurant that we had in kota kinabalu.

For instance, you've ordered Rm8.88 dish, after finished it you can order another dish, says the chicken cordon bleu for Rm25.99 , and the total amount you need to pay is just Rm25.99 + 15% tax. Even you ate 3 or more dishes, they just count you the highest value of the dish you ordered. So like their slogan "eat as much as you can".

But their cooking is kinda slow, don't feel curious if you are first timer. :D

P/S : The dinner menu might different with the lunch menu.
I'm also 1st timer, so I not that sure about it

I went to this coffee shop several time before, but I never took my camera out and snap this kind of bread. So I came across to this chance today and took a picture of it.

It "works" pretty simple, spread the "kaya" around the bread , slice the cold butter block into pieces and put between the breads. As simple as that.

Having this bread here cost you Rm1.20 per set.
It tastes super duper yummy when you're finding something to fill your empty stomach. :D

Here is the shop overview @ Damai main branch. There's still another branch located at Asia City, and there serves Halal food IINM.

When you mention about ngau chap in kota kinabalu here, majority of people will tell you that this shop offered the better/best ngau chap.

I went there several time, but recently only brought my dslr there.

Also most of the people who went here will say the chili is super duper fucking hot. Taste it, if you iz very rike to eat cili padi.

28th March, I with my family went to Tenom, Sabah "Qing Ming" with an earlier date. After qing ming went to the town market first floor food court having breakfast.

We ordered 5 bowls of this shitbrix taste mee hon aka rice vermicelli. The taste ar....you is will tunasing when u taste it. It is like u just put the hot boiled water and the mee hon inside without put any seasoning. The taukeh is so kiam sap even a bit more salt also cant put inside... fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. This food ensure you shitbrix after u eated it.

Went to sushi king for dinner with my dad and brother and took some pictures of the sushi...
not much. :D

Green Tea. The cheaper solution of drinks.

Rm 2-dish. :D Cheap and nice. Don't hesitate to take it if you are in hungry. LOL !!!

Salmon. Sweet taste. Must try it ! :D Rm 4 per plate.

No idea what this sushi called with the veges topped up. Not bad though, for Rm 3.

The sushi with cheese topped up. Nice taste, you know how cheese taste right ? Cost Rm 4 per plate. Quite reasonable.

The "Economy Pack" !!! It offers the best "Price:Performance" compared to all the sushi in the restaurant. Muahahaha just for Rm 2 ! How cheap is it !

Ok, I was sitting in front of my computer , suddenly came a person who ride a motorcycle and he rang my bell. And i got a parcel, definitely I know it's this. So I quickly tear off the plastic bag.. and start to take some photo with it.

The idle temp during the test was 43c and the load temp max after ~10mins is 52.

Final Thought :

This vga cooler isn't really that bad. But the price made it being an so-so vga cooler. If says last year we can get an Artic Cooling Accelero S1 Rev.2 for example your 88/9800GT, it offers best bang-for-buck in terms of the cooling performance. For Your Information, I bought this xigmatek for RM170 and the both 120mm fan Rm50, Total cost Rm220,

while the Accelero I bought last time is Rm120 plus RM25 for the 120mm fan.Total cost is Rm145. ( I'm running 2 rigs with 2 8800GT )

Right now I'm typing this entry, running Folding@Home, my flashed-to-9800GT 8800GT shows the temp of 54c, and the other xigmatek-installed-8800GT shows a temp of 49c, running Folding@Home as well.

In My Opinion, maybe it is the lousy thermal compound that applied to the xigmatek heat sink hence made the performance so-so, I've ordered Tuniq TX-2 thermal paste recently, waiting for it arrive my door step. I will try to update this review if I reapply the thermal paste.

Ahhh... my item have not arrive to my door step yet. But arrived KK. Had to wait until working hours. Swt... and the worse things is the seller of my tuniq tx-3 havn't post the item yet. Because the "pos express" envelope was sold out everywhere so he was unable to post out. Probably I'll use the thermal compound that comes with the kit for a day. Doh....

For the 70-200F4L thermo flask... it's super duper hard or impossible to get from market. It's super rare in here. Even the whole Asia. Only few Canadian photographer have it if im not wrong. Since the source is from Canada.

For the 24-105L coffee cup, it had a super hot sales in china.Need wait for next stock in on 20th March . swt...and it's not available for sale in SouthEastAsia yet. But the price of the cup was RMB98 exclusive of postage fee. It has 1:1 ratio to the real EF24-105 f/4L. Isn't it cool ? I'm so gonna get it for collection. Yeah, I don't mind to pay a such "expensive" cup. :D

MSI 8800GT OC

I bought one second hand 8800GT recently, for folding purpose.

The "Geforce" wording on the panel which I like the most. Isn't it cool ? :D

Since the card was about 2 and half years ++ old, the Idle temperature that I tested was 73degree celcius...Holy cow that is a ridiculous value. When I was about to run it with folding to see the temperature it goes to 93C and keep adding, so after half minute of run I close it immediately.

I decided to strip old the heat sink fan, and clean the old thermal compound. Have a look again.

Ram replacement after my Team Xtreem + Crucial Ballistix Tracer

Hehehe...it's the Corsair Dominator PC8500 DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15 2.1v Rev1.1 4GB kit.

Here's the story why I've changed my ram.
I'm an overclocker who just overclock to meet the decent performance for daily usage.
Previously I was running 2GB of Team Xtreem PC6400 CL4 + 2GB of Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC6400 Cl4 and Intel C2D E8400 @ 450mhz X 9. Since it was 4 sticks of ram,
it's needed to pump a bit of vdimm to them stabilized.

So I've pumped to 2.0vdimm to run 4 of them.... After few months of usage, roughly 4-5 months, One of the Crucial has died. I tried to run 3 sticks, it can't operate.
So I just stick only with Team for a moment.

I found 2GB Ram for my daily usage is seriously not enough, and I'm thinking of upgrading.
But the horrible price of another pair of 2GB team xtreem pc6400 CL4 just turned me off.
You know what ? It cost Rm300 for a new pair. LOL !!!
I know it's D9 guaranteed but I think I'm not gonna pay for the premium price.

So I decided to sell my team ram yes and it is sold within few days, with relatively cheap price =.=... In the mean time, I saw an 4GB OCZ Reaper HPC PC8500 ram for Rm400.
The price satisfied me in that time. But since the online seller was offed to holiday for 1 week ,
my patient can't hold me even the seller will be back in few days.

I was searching around the forum, I just saw this second hand corsair ram for sale.... and the price was reasonable since it's 1.1revision.
I know it's a good overclocker and 100% suits my not-super-extreme-daily-usage-setting, and after that I bought it without any hesitation. It cost me Rm380 by the way.

I've an online friend told me, even the Crucial ram rated 2.0v on their ram, due to the 4-layer PCB, it still can't handle 2.0vdimm on daily usage. Until I tried this, I only realized and believed.
I buy the crucial at first because it's cheap, just for Rm110 but don't have warranty since there is no more Heat spreader on it.

Lastly, my advice is, NEVER buy Crucial ram. They sucks. That's it.

Soak the keyboard into a soaped water.

Use brush to brush the dirty places, and dry em up.

Process of drying key/caps.

After assemble every keys and caps. It looks like new. again :D

*Do not try this if you are unsure about whether your keyboard can be washed. Please dry them properly before plugging it to your PC.
This keyboard died eventually because I didn't dry the membrane circuit, perhaps that is the causes of my dead keyboard.

Now I'm using another new keyboard, Logitech Media Keyboard. This keyboard is good for general usage I can say. Quite silent key stroke. Also comes with 12 programmable button, but not all of them are fully customizable. Price was about Rm55 that my dad bought to me.

But this will be my temporary keyboard replacement as I've already targeted the Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard.

Quite cool eh ?
Some enthusiast will recommend me go for mechanical keyboard instead, but my wallet doesn't let me to own it. Sad... ;(

So basically, there are just some beautiful view which your naked eye can be seen.
Availability of activities like banana-boat, kayaking, drawing "Batik" etc.

Regarding the lizard-feeding picture, the lizard was living there for 10 years, said by the managing team of the bay. They will feed the lizards everyday on time, around 12 to 2pm. Because the place is a joint between wetland and sea, so yea don't be afraid when you see lizards are swimming around. They are friendly though... LOL

After dad's 6-year-old P4 rig started giving him much problem (e.g. Mobo can't detect IDE ports accurately, DVD-ROM not recognize by mobo ), I have persuaded him to buy a new pc part. His old pc casing was still fine and going strong. Since his usage is just checking email, msn and doing outlook express, so I've suggested a very low budget parts for him. All stuffs summed up

Suggestion from what several people, if you want to buy a cheap filter, you'd better don't use filter on your lens. Else, just get a better one.

Besides B+W MRC F-Pro,XS-Pro. Hoya HD also a darn nice filter for your lenses.
They are easy to clean, the built is just hard enough to protect your glass.

You pay nuts and you get monkey. This is what I believe.

Canon EF 50mm ƒ1.8II - Again

I've been sold my first nifty-fifty ( EF 50 f/1.8II )half year ago. Sold that because of bad economical situation happened on me. Hahaha....

And Now my pocket money is quite comfort with this lens' price. So I decided to buy a new unit again. The shop where I bought this lens is Investline Sdn. Bhd. ( an 100% recommended shop if you buying dslr and accessories )with price of MYR300 after discounted. Sounds great, even in K.L. cheapest I found is around MYR320.

Ok, lets cut into pictures.

My thought on this lens :
1. You can't go wrong with this lens if you're looking budget + big aperture lens.
2. A good lens to start for beginner who wishes to take portrait photo.
3. With the price / performance. This is lens got the best ratio. It is cheap for its sharpness.
4. Light weight. In fact some people even call the built quality like a toy. =D

Well, If you're a beginner and want to get a budget lens... grab this now !!!
